Unhappy Please Help!!!

so i need some help on diagnosing why my car runs like ****. can some body please tell me what a bad tps sensor would do and i have a full exhaust system and my buddy told me that i need to do something with my egr valve because its still plugged in, any input would help on that cuz i dont have any idea why that would matter. and last but not least i was told that a bad ACT sensor and ECT sensor would mess with my fuel/spark curve? any truth to that? Anyway those are my problems and ive been dealin with this what seems like forever because i cant drive car cuz i dont want to hurt anything else

Thanks in advance
JS

first and foremost, explain what the prob is with the car???? first thing to do is run a koeo/koer test and that'll determine if any such prob exists with "said " sensors

ok well it makes like a backfiring noise when you hit the gas pedal and lacks power and wont idle by itself. i know i need to do a base idle reset but would that make the noise and not have power? and the check engine light does not come on so would there be codes? But my engine is apart right now so i cant get it to advanced auto to do a scan

yes it can log codes that won't turn cel on and second, advance I doubt can or even has the know how to run koeo/koer tests on and obd 1 car, google DIY KOER and you can pull codes when it is up and running. you could try cleaning the maf as a quick stab in the dark.

i'm gonna go with timing or MAF.
i've seen dirty/bad MAF's cause some seriously whacked out symptoms.
