i can probably get a nitrous kit real cheap(bottle, hardware, lines, solonoids) but its a 4.6. what would i need to make it work for my efi 89 set up?

no window switch, but i think it has a bottle heater and WOT switch.

how much you pay with that info, its an NX kit iirc.

dont give more than 350 and if it has the fuel rail shrader valve adapter they are the same on both cars. if it doesnt have one youll have to buy one

What size bottle? Probably a 10lb but if he upgraded to a larger bottle its a better deal of course. If it has the heater and everything is working properly, looks nice, etc, I think $250 is fair.

 

i went and read his threads...i dont think its ever been used honestly. hard to tell though since he doesnt post a lot. i assume it was just the kit he bought so its a 10lbs bottle. he's emailing me pics here in a few and i can post them. would what i need to make it work on my car? oh yea it has a purge kit too that comes with the purchase.

A purge valve makes it an even better deal. You would either need a nozzle or TB plate I would imagine..I havent messed with EFI nitrous much. Just post the pics and we will try and help you from there. Sounds like a good deal to me

ok i bought the kit for 250 dollar shipped.

it doesnt have a bottle heater but it does have extras, purge kit, "some extra switches", wot switch, solonoids, bottle, lines.

i called NX and all i need is a nozzle to tap into the intake tube or a plate kit. now i just need to find a window switch.



how does nitrous react to high compression motor? i heard you get more a punch the higher the compression?
