5.0 section is a tech section = ie..you are having a prob with your car = something is malfuctioning or you are installing a part and ran into an issue......your question revolves around..ie. an opinion on a product and build.

hrmmmmm, cheap and good hp gains??? contradictory statement IMO, ANYWAY, if cheap is your only concern and somewhat of quality, the edelbrock E street heads will net you a 30 -40 gain in hp with a decent cam and intake maybe more, although I don't like to quote magazine article, with the "said heads" above mm&ff did a bolt on build and OTB the bolted them on and picked up 30 rwhp and the heads are priced under 1000.00.......If it were me I'd go for trick flow heads and find such used

yea cheap is not my main concern, as i said i would be up to paying 4-500 per head, as long as i can order them per head ya know. And those ford racing heads i linked have always caught my attention advertising bolt on 65 hp and drop a bunch of weight, i just dont know the quality

the FMS heads aren't very efficient. my stock cobra made more HP than a gt-40x headed, B cammed, cobra intaked GT...

and I was faster than him too... (he had 3.73's, i was stock)

If you can spend about a grand you could look for a set of used trickflows, edelbrocks, AFRs, etc.

I wouldn't believe the magazine propaganda on bolt 65 hp.

I had the gt-40x heads and they flowed like crap no way near 65 horsepower. I would save up a few hundred more and get some AFR or trick flows

out of several aftermarket heads that ive flow tested, AFR's are the only ones so far that actually flow what they advertise!
