Default kinda bumed

recently put shorty headers, o/r h pipe, and the car already had a flowmaster catback on it. not sure what flowmaster series they are though. the car is not a whole lot louder than it was before the shorties and h pipe???

eh, revi it up, I can tell you the tone probably changed

besides you dont want a super loud car anyway, hurts your ears gets cops attention etc....

i had a 4 hour trip one time in my car, top up, radio low, windows up, I have equal length shorties, prochamber offroad midpipe and a mac catback

my ears were ringing...

time for more sound deadener

yea but it dont even seem like it has that beautiful classic mustang sound. i had stock headers, no name o/r h pipe, and a bassani catback on my 03 and it sounded like sex!!!!!! i thought the setup i had now would sound better than that since i have headers now

long tubes will bring out more sound, and try something other than flowmasters... everyone has them

I dont know if I am helping...

my car is moderatly loud, tho I may ditch the prochamber pipes this summer, they are super rusty and I am looking at an x pipe

I went thru the same thing, did a full exhaust and didnt get much louder than stock. So I put dumps on the car. Def got alot deeper in tone and a tad bit louder.

a loud car will be cool for the first few days then will get rather annoying.. especially if you drive it everyday.

i put a k&n filter in cause i didnt think a different intake would do much better performance wise. maybe sound though?? i will get a cam in time. need to convert to maf first. by dumps, do you mean you put them on the end of your mufflers and deleted you tail pipes?
