As long as you aim them correctly, you won't blind anyone. I went with 8k and love it. I live in AZ so I drive through dark deserts pretty often. You don't need to upgrade your alternator to get the HIDs. I believe the HIDs actually use less wattage...

what would be the members price on the 9004 HB1 DIGITAL BIXENON HID kit? i tried entering the code but it didnt tell me the price.. it was $186

The 35w DIGITAL bixenon 9004 is $167.40 shipped, the same thing in the brighter 55w version is $173.70 shipped.

I got both my kits from DDM Tuning, they're currently on sale for $50 (+$20 for bi-xenon) and they come with a lifetime warranty.
