Default Tire Size?

I just bought a set of pony car 16X7 wheels and i have always had 15" wheels and have ran 255/70R 15 in the back and 235/60R 15 in the front and i didn't know what was be good for a 16 i want a bigger footprint than the 255's i had on the 15's but around the 235 245 area on the front and i wanted to see if you guys had some on advice on what you would run and sizes and what wouldn't look stupid

Thanks Guys!!!

O MY GOD! that pic looks horrible!

And a 275 tires is about as wide as you can fit before you have clearance issues. Here is my car with a 275/60r15 (i know its not a 16" rim but just gives you an idea)

my mistake they were 255/60R...and sounds like 245/50 16's are a winner

^^^^they are, you can squeeze a 255 50 16 on the rear but they often rub the tail pipes a little
