Default pcv valve needed?

i think the machine shop plugged up the hole at the back of the intake so there is no point in putting a pcv valve in it. how neccessary is the pcv valve?

Yes it is needed. The pcv valve is ventilation for the crankcase.

plugging the intake port by itself won't hurt anything, however, if you plugged the valve cover end of that, you have a problem. You'll blow out your valve cover gaskets and other seals from excess pressure build up in the engine.

You should at the very least use a Valve cover Breather assembly.

Not straight water, it needs to be mixed with coolant..

For some reason when I read that I thought you were talking about pouring it down the pvc hole lol. open your radiator cap and pour it in the radiator.

pour it until you can't pour anymore then fire it up. There may be bubbles after you fire it up so let it run and the coolant level should drop, then top it off.
