Floor jack guru's? Get one that doesn't take three hours to pump... usually the "nascar" style are good.

A nice aluminum jack is always a plus for the car. One that has the low front end on it to get it under the car easier.

+1 Craftsman. While you're at it, pick up a creeper, ramps, jackstands and wheel chocks.

I have both the Aluminum Low Profile quick pump and the 2 Ton Craftsman and the one thing I would watch out for if you decided to go with the Aluminum Low Profile is to make sure it will pick up the weight. I’ve blown 3 O-rings so far in the Aluminum Low Profile is the reason I mention this.

That's pretty bad. I have craftsman and some cheapo 2 ton mini floor jack and have never blown seals on either of them in the last 5 years.

I agree completely and the reason I mentioned watch what you buy. My Craftsman is 15 yrs old and I've never had an issue with it.

The floor jack is a vital important tool in my garage and want to make sure I get something that all of you have experience with...I am going for the Craftsmen Aluminum...I already have the stands, ramps and chalks....
