Exhaust difference between GT and LX foxes ?
#12
When i bought my gt it had lx exhaust on it, the tips kinda melted the rear bumper and i think it looks good. I havent seen another fox like that, i personally hate the cut out look, but i also like having tips.

obviously you have to do what the budget allows.if all you can afford is gt exhaust go for it.but latemodelrestoration.com have sweet lx polished pipes that have the hump for the axles with em for about 150.you can allways add them later.i just don't want to see another fox get butchered.it's just me though i'm pretty old school.my fox has to have 5.0 emblems, pony rims,lx pipes but be low 12's is my goal. to each his own!!

I am hoping that I can get the transition to the tips up far enough under the car that at first glance you will not be able to tell they were altered. I am not sure if I will need 18", 22", or 24" tips.
I've been looking at various cars and cannot figure out why some have tailpipes that angle upwards, while some go straight back level with the ground. There are also some that have really low spots before the tailpipe that almost touches the ground, it almost looks like instead of going over the axle they go under it instead.
