Default Rear Control Arms

Should i go with... Adj. uppers and solid lowers or Solid uppers and Adj. lowers....
whats good for wut. The main reason i need any type of adjustability is for switching from reg street wheels/tires to a higher profile drag tire/wheel. thanks

if you need to adjust for tire size then you need adjustable lowers. adj uppers really only help dial in your pinion angle which is also a critical thing to do. I've got hpm adj uppers and I've liked them so far. I've also got lakewood traction action lowers, which are adjustable so to speak. some people say they suck and are outdated some people swear by them. i have yet to take them to the track yet so i'm in the middle lol.

Define adjustable lowers. Do you mean with adjustable spring perches?

I'm using MM extreme duty LCA and love them. I can adjust the spring perch height which in turn adjusts my rear ride height.

Unless you know how to check your pinion angle and also adjust it to the proper spec, there's no real point in getting adustable UCA's. Unless you want to pay someone to adjust them every time you change your tires.

If you are just trying to change your ride height.... get lower control arms with adjustable spring perches.

idealy, if your going to take the time to really dial in your suspension you want a adjustables upper and lower. i think most people just get adjustable uppers so they can dial in pinion angle. fwiw, neither my uppers or lowers are adjustable and so far so good, im cutting 1.6 60 foots with low boost and bald street tires but i do have an anti roll bar and full cage to help keep everything stiff and planted. every car is different but its always better to have as much adjustability as possible

Yea i'll prob go with solid uppers and Maybe adj. lowers, only reason cause i don't wanna have any clearance issues putting on my drag tires and wheels if i just use solid lowers

Should have been more clear, I was meaning if he adjusted the right height with LCA's in order to squeeze his drag tires in there.

Yea, popped the wheels i'm gonna use for drag with some MT street drag radials and they fit in my wheel well just fine. So i just got some BMR non-adjustable uppers and lowers. Thanks for all the posts
