Question 1995 GTS?

So i was looking for a mustang to buy when i came across a 95 gts. What is a gts? Why do they have an "s" at the end of gt? Any and all info is appreciated. thanks

GTS is basically a basemodel with a v8. no spoiler,fog lights, cloth seats, and doesn't necessarily have power locks/windows/seats,mirrors etc.

like he said its basically a stripped down version and they are rare if its a true gts

how much should i offer the guy. he says 3k and it has a cobra front bumper cowl maybe 1-2" hood and some black rims. idk who the rims are from. but the car needs a paint job and has 117,xxx miles. othewise im pretty sure its stock o ya and he said it has a mild cam

that seems pretty fair to me maybe shoot 2500 and see if they jump. how bad is the paint?

it looks like its pretty good its just that the hood and front bumper are primer colored pieces because they havent been painted since they were in stalled.

id try the 2500 then plus 117k isnt really a lot of miles for a 5.0 unless you can just tell its a hard ragged car

well from what i could tell it didnt look to beat up but im gonna take a day and go out to see. hopefully ill be driven home with my second mustang
