Default H PIPE

sorry for bringing up one of the most talked about subjects..but i'd like to hear personal opinions and as many of them as possible.

i have a 90 mustang 5.0.. intake headers.. and 2 cat exhaust with flowmasters.
i've already made the decision between the Xpipe and Hpipe and i've chosen then H pipe.. however i was wondering how much attention i would get from police with that exhaust system.. bbk shorty headers no cats h pipe and flowmaster mufflers..i just got my license back from a 2 year long suspension and i believe even a little fix-it-ticket during my provisional period would then again suspend my license.. overall my 5.0 sounds pretty nice even with just flowmasters but like many other folks i'd like my 5.0 to ROAR!

Flowmasters are not really all that loud. In your situation I wouldn't do much "illegal" stuff to you car yet. Get yourself a H pipe with high flow cats and call it a day.

have you ever had any problems with the police about the exhaust noise level?

Yep, but the cop was being a *&^%$. It was dismissed before the court date.
There are millions of 5.0's with offroad H-pipes and Flowmasters. As long as you run tail pipes, it's not all that loud.

I had that on my origional setup I love the flowmaster off road H sound its origional and its not overally loud. I had to get cats for inspection so I got a BBK catted X pipe. Well the 2 chamber flows were way too quiet after that but some SLP loudmouths did the trick and the sound is far beyond my flows even with cats. I get alot of comlements on the sound now
