What octane for my 83 GT?
This might be a dumb question but I'm new to the whole mustang and V-8 scene and I've searched but cant find any info. I just picked up an 83 Gt and was wondering what octane to put in it.

87 is fine if you keep the timing low.

87 is fine even with increased timing. E-10 Ethanol burns different than MTBE fuels that we had been running for years

I can run 12* on 87 octane with no pinging. No ethanol.
