Default Good Deal or Junk?

today i came across a 1990 mustang 5.0 gt convertible, needs a valve cover seal (or somthing like that) a radiator and a exaust tip.

other than that is runs good but also needs some cosmetic work, has a decent size dent in the back right of the car and a broken fin on the back, plus it Defiantly needs paint clear coat is showing all over the place (really ugly looking car)

interior isnt too great couldnt really see i looked at the car at night and they have junk stored inside (going back during the day tomarrow)

i can get it for 800-1000 dollars, just wondering if its worth the price,

also hows the mileage on these? i know its not a 4 cyl econy car.

milage is good considering its a 5 liter someone posted today having 21 highway (ovb not all of them that good) sounds like an aright deal a valve cover gasket is easy and so is a radiator not to expensive either. id say if you have the money and its what u want go for it

Sounds good to me but I would pay no more than 1000 for it.
Pictures would be nice.

sounds good and all of the parts it needs are very inexpensive to pick up. the fins are usually pretty cheap too

fin broken on the car?? since when do foxes have fins?

post some pics, if it runs well, I'd say upt to 1400 is prolly a good price, tho you will spend a decent amount of cash on the resto and tuneup of the car

change all fluids, new plugs, wires cap, rotor, coil, fuel filter
