How big of a difference are there between the say 88 fenders, and the 93 fenders? The 93's are wider right? How much wider? Also you have to use the 93 inner fender plastic with the 93 fender right? You can not use the 88's because it won't fit right?

I think the 90-93 fender is about an 3/4-an inch wider.

As stated above the difference between the 88 Fender and the 93 fender is 3/4" the 93 being the wider.
Yes you will have to use the 93 plastic splash shield on 93 fender.
