Make sure you shim it properly or you will have much more resistance when disengaging the clutch than you want.

I didn't use/require shims from what I remember. Just the washer for the new quadrant.

The kits should come with shims, at least mine did. I forget if mine told me exactly how to shim it or if I shimmed it based on cotter pin/clutch cable location.
It's been a while.
