suspension advise.
been awhile and my plans have changed.
I maybe (most likely) buying a 92 vert to replace my 89 hatch as my daily driver. I have the following parts waiting to be installed in my hatch but will most likley go in the vert now.
Max Motorsports Lower Control Arms
Max Motorsports Panhard bar
Eibach lowersprings, (i believe its the pro-kit but its been a while)
KYB shocks and struts
My questions are:
Will the Ford Racing Upper Control arms be any better then the stockers? is there a better brand under 150.00 for the set. I am trying to keep them cheap b.c i may very well go with a torque arm set up later.
Will i need C.C plates with the pro-kit, how about if i have the sport lines?
Car i am looking at for those interested:

As always, any and all help is appreciated.

No matter what you do to your suspension you need to get CC plates. Even with stock suspension the springs sag and end up requiring CC plates to get the car aligned properly. CC plates are a MUST unless you want to buy tires over and over again after they continuosly get chewed up.
The upper control arms that Ford Racing now sells have stiffer rubber bushings in them than the stock fox arms. This reduces deflection and is a the best alternative to poly bushings that may cause torque box tearing. Other than the bushings they are the exact same as stock arms. I'm using Ford UCA because I am going to a torque arm/panhard soon. I also welded stiffeners into the UCA to provide extra strength.

good to know. I plan on having the torque boxes reinforced as well, the car is producing 500 rwtq on stock suspension, so when i have subframes connectors put in i will have them welded in as well.
That panhard bar sounds like a good buy for your set-up. The Eibach lowering springs are going to sit your car really low and your going to hate it though. No matter how fast your going, you hit a bump, and your car will bottom out - exhaust will hit, tires will hit the wheel wells. Its just not worth getting that low. I have the Steeda Sport Springs and they don't get as low as the Eibach. I would get the Ford Racing Springs, because they lower your car just an inch all the way around, and its just enough to do whatever you want with your car. ALSO, get the Eibach Anti-Sway bar kit, you'll love what the results are, its worth every penny.
You really should replace both upper and lower control arms, and I would worry about the fronts, just replace it with better bushings that came on the 94-99' stangs.

Having the pro-kit won't be that bad. You will have to watch out for some bumps but as long as your shocks and struts are in order you should be ok. If you are going to a torque arm setup soon, don't worry about the uppers.
Producing 500rwhp? Really, what is your setup?
