I got me a new winter beater!!!
I saw everyone else making winter beater threads, and I felt left out...
I actually just picked it up today. Drove it home from Lowell MA, about 83 miles from where I live in Smithfield RI.
Now, I didnt get an amazing deal like Nacanitihs and 302army187 did. But its DEFINITLY an upgrade from what I WAS driving.
It's a 2001 Chevy Blazer ZR2, with a 4.3L Vortec V6. Push button 4wd, auto, and power EVERYTHING... seriously! Its got 92k on the clock. The dealership was asking $6000 for it. I wanted to trade my S10 against it, but the salesman (owner) said he wasnt interested in putting my 2wd truck on the lot. So I worked him over and got the truck for $4800!
Enough of my babbling... heres some pics!
Im excited about having my first 4wd vehicle... no more getting stuck in the snow!
now i can't wait for it to actually snow here again so i can be cool like all the other people in the SUV's that always just cruise on by and never lend a hand to help the guy stuck on the side of the road in his 1 tire fire, 2wd lowered pickup!

nice blazer
just keep an eye on the push button 4wd, we had a blazer a while back and the push button started giving us problems, it would either not go into 4wd or not get out of 4wd
parents ended up selling it because it had a few electrical gremlins that appeared out of nowhere

! My cuz has a '99, and it wheels pretty good for what it is. Nice buy!

AdderMk2 - I never thought id see a Ford guy buy a Chevy...the end is near... 
Now you will be telling us soon that your putting a 350 in your Stang, then selling the stang to get a Camaro......

my previous DD was a 2000 S10. and before that I had a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire
