Default problem solved

well if anyone remembers, i had just dropped 3k on a rebuild of my 347. i got it back in the car and BLAM! no oil pressure.

so the car has been in the shop for about 2 weeks with them fiddling with ****, and i just got a call from my mechanic, says they found the problem. apparently their is a hairline crack in my oil pickup, so they are in the process of replacing it and i should have it back by the end of the week.

my question is, how the hell does a oil pickup develop a crack?!?!

haha yeah. the guy who is working on it really knows mustangs, next time im at his shop ill snap a few pics. he owns the first all motor 2010 mustang in the 11's. also has a 800hp dark blocked sn95. his shop and around it is literally like 20 mustangs, from just carcass's of cars to full blown race cars. its a real neat shop.

maybe it got dropped at one point or there was a casting flaw in the metal or when the pickup tube was bent at the factory a flaw in the metal caused the crack...

your guess is as good as mine, but at least its getting repaired and no major damage occurred
