Whats up dude? Yeah I gave you an answer and I read your post. Like I said earlier, if you aren't gonna run it hard then choose one of your alternatives. Especially if you don't want to wait on a custom cam. That was information. Did you read my post? Don't come in here bashing this Jay Allen character in front of his customers.

EVERYONE, settle down, this is not the place to bash on such and such a person/s.................AND to the OP, THERE are other competent cam designers out there that can service your needs, for example, www.flowtechinduction.com SEND ED an email, he will get right back with you , without much wait, but as always with any of theses guys, don't expect to see the end result until you shell out the money for their time/ work

http://www.cammotion.com/ Been around for over 30 years and they grind custom cams. Good guys and no attitudes to deal with. They did me right. You could also try Bullet camshafts they grind custom stuff also. Both of the companies I have said are hard core race people but will cut you what you want.

Doesn't that strike you as odd? Here's the explanation/excuse/reason...... he has been going through a medical condition way above a tonsillectomy in severity, that has caused the backlog in which, unfortunately, you (myself included BTW) have also fallen into, until now. Will it get solved? .... yup, and although I know your patience limit looks like it's been depleted...... the only feedback I can provide is, to ask for a little understanding and accept his upfront apologies for such a situation nobody is able to control, nor foresee.

Is a little more wait time worth it?..... ... based on my experience and the products/support quality I've been able to get pre and post a sale...... absolutely!

This is 100% dead on!

Jay is having some health issues, which is taking a significant amount of his time.
He is busting his *** to get back to customers as fast as he can, but he has a lot of customers... and spends some serious time with most of them.

I had a couple hours of phone time with him myself...

Also, take into account that the last 40 days included the Holiday Season. We are definitely not talking 40 work days here.


In my opinion, you already have the best cam guy in the Ford world. Yes Jay does cams for all makes, but he bleeds Ford Blue just like the rest of us. His personal rides are Mustangs.
Personally, I wouldn't even consider any other options.


Be patient. Let Jay work his magic.
