Maximum motorsports control arms.
Hey guys purchased my H&R SS springs, maximum motorsports cc plates, but just realized it would be easier to put rear control arms on now while doing these mods then to wait later on down the road. I was looking at getting the MM heavy duty rear control arms but have since read that there not recommended for drag use. My car doesn't see the strip very often but its does see standing launches from a red-light. MM says that only there Extreme Duty rear control arms are recommended for this. The price is steep so i wanted to see if anyone else has them already, and what they think of them. Thanks in advance, Jay.

When I install/remove my rear springs i don't touch the control arms at all, that just makes a lot more work for yourself. That being said I bought the MM Heavy duty arms, my car rarely sees the track and I couldn't see spending the extra hundred or whatever for arms that i may not even need. I talked to them and they said the HD ones are much more street friendly, and since that's what my car is mainly built for i went with it.

Onxy have you launched your car at all with those arms on it? Some people have said that the poly bushings have "broken" when these arms were taken to the track, im not even sure how i feel about this because i know my car is putting out alot to the rear wheels. My only fear is just having to do this job again.

imo, suspension is one place you dont want to buy cheap parts. not only are they essensial for a good launch, the whole car rides on it as well as your life. buy quality suspension parts!
