I felt NO difference when I took mine off :/

Its just sitting in the garage. its 9-10lb, not sure if its worth the extra weight. I might put it back on after I get some good cosistant 60' and see if they improve with it on. IDK

I know I did feel a difference with my 98 when I put one on it and their bodies are more rigid than ours. Its not going to help your 60 foot time though. The strut tower brace is really only gonna help in the corners.

blah, f-that then, haha.

Mine is chrome along with 99% of the other crap I took off, so it would look out of place with my new blacked out engine bay.

I'll probably sell it along with like 10 other things I gotta sell.

Yea it wouldn't look right in your engine bay anymore. I bet you can make a pretty penny off of the chrome stuff you had in that thing.

The trip to the yard was a little disappointing because I didn't have the socket I needed to remove the lock nut from the ball joint to remove the spindles. I did however get my driver power seat track and out of no where I found the driver side splash shield for my fender.

I got a little time in today. I swapped out my locks from the 83 into the 93 along with the ignition cylinder. The one from the 93 had its ears broken off so I would have had to turn it with the hey instead of the tabs and that might break the key at some point. I also did it so all of my lock match. I still need to swap the hatch lock once I get a hatch.

I also bolted my starter this morning. With the headers out of the way I easily dropped it in from the top. I do still need to run the wires for it though. Next trip to the just yard I am going to have to get the starter power wires.

A buddy of mine just bought a S10 that had some work done to it and he pulled alot of stuff off of it. I ended up getting a faze A/F ratio gauge, a Ultra Lit II electric oil pressure gauge, and some 4GA amp wire from him. I will probably get some o2 sensors and install them so I can use the A/F ratio gauge and since the oil pressure gauge is the exact same one I already have (except its electric) and I can mount it inside the car. I am using the wire for the power wire for the 3G upgrade. I will also be getting the flowmaster he has on it once he changes the exhaust so I can put that on my 98 and replace the home made muffler I have on it lol.

New Gauges

Here are some wiring pics.

Headlight and electric fan wiring

3G wiring started

Alternator wiring route

Then the a pic of the driver seat mounted. You can also see that I have the shift handle and **** installed as well. The center console will most likely NOT be used. It came out of my brother's notch that he flipped/rolled 12 times (why its covered in dirt....). He had it painted in the textured stone spray paint. That happened about 9 years ago....
