How can i identify a real 1991 mustang gt cobra?
Hey everyone, im new to the forum, i signed up a while ago when i was going to get a 03 cobra but that didnt work out......anyways im completely new to fords....... im thinking of trading one of my cars for a 1991 mustang gt (cobra). I have some questions though. how can i tell if its a real cobra? it has all the basic things that look like a cobra......it has the cobra intake manifold, body kit and symbols (snake on the side and svt on the back) but im pretty sure those things arent hard to come by..... he also said the car has a lot of mods like upper and lower intake(what does that mean?), gt40 aluminuim heads(are those any good?) and some kinda (WID?) cam. Like i said im completely new to fords so any tips or advice on what to look for would be greatly appreciated...... also Im going to see/test drive the car later today and get more details and hopefully some paperwork.

motorman 524, i had major doubts of it being a real cobra, so the U.S doesnt have any real ones? or are they just crazy high priced?
Oh and i would be trading a 2000 lincoln town car, pretty much 3,500$....

oh ok, thanks for clearing that up guys. What about the GT40 aluminuim heads, are those good heads? Whats the point of the snake decals on the side and svt on the back? is it a performance package? or is this just a regular mustang gt that someone put cobra decals and an intake manifold that says cobra, just to make it look faster or what?
