installing motor

Default installing motor

ill the motor fit if i install it with long tubes on? i have a tubeular k member so i know that will give me some more room. i wanna put the motor in with the headers, bellhousing, and starter on. just wanted to ask you guys before i try it and scratch up my new paint in the engine bay.

I put mine in with long tubes, it was tough but i eventually got it

Yeah it should slide in no problem. Maybe have to disconnect the steering shaft or something like that but I'm not totally sure.

I lowered the engine until it was a few inches from the mounts then I slid the long tubes in then I lowered all the way then I bolted them in. I have stock K member though and there was no way I was gonna get it in

i think i'll give it a try i'll put it in before the rack so the shaft shouldn't b in the way wont be for a couple weeks but i'll let ya know how it goes. still gotta get the clutch, motor mounts and a new starter first
