I have an 89 LX 5.0, and it's Scarlet Red with the same color interior. Can anyone provide a link, or possibly tell me what other exterior colors were available with my interior color? I'd like to paint my car a different color, possibly a brighter red or burgandy, but don't know that it would look right with my interior color. I assume the factory knew best...

I do love the look of White 5.0's, but then I'd have to def do the engine compartment. Considered Black also, but then it'd be the same deal...Hmmm.

Pull the engine, clean up inside the compartment and tape the wires and lines up, prep and shoot it too

Thats also what my wife said about my Vert interior, thats why im changing all mine to grey/black in the summer lol.

Found a link to a website that shows color combos for Red Mustangs... I guess Bright Red (21), Medium Scarlet (2D) which I have, and Cabernet Red (2H) were all available with the same interior color as mine. So I think when I repaint, I'll go something similar to Cabernet Red. There's a pretty nice lookin Deep Red that I saw today on a 2006ish Dodge Ram full-size, so maybe I'll look into that color...
