Default Dip in Roof.. help

I own an 88' Ford Mustang with a 351W swap, motor blown and transmission in shop with new block, i am going all ballz on this thing. More to the point, since I've owned the car i noticed a dip in the roof and would like to get it out with out cutting and welding. i used to be an aero-body specialist, and i can do anything pretty much. any ideas? please.. aha

+1 Even if it is fixable I hope you plan on doing some body work. Chances of you pulling a dent out of your roof is slim.

well where is the dip at.and the roof on my car when i got it,it looked like someone sat on it.so i pulled out the headliner and their is a brace where the dome light is,and i just cut out some of the glue that held the brace to the roof and it popped right out

yeah it looks like someone sat on it, right dab in the middle. I'll definitely look at that when i get the chance cause I'm going to strip out the inside soon. i was thinking about bracing the roof anyway, before i install the roll cage, before paint.

The roof is already braced from the factory... not very strongly though. Theres basically like an "X" bracing for the roof. You should post some pictures.

punch it real hard lol. Seen that work. Mine is crinkled at the side next to my after market sun roof. thats what launching on trans brake and pulling 1-2 ft wheelies will do with out a cage.
