i like it,its very finicky, has the opportunity to leak.you must check and double check, because it is designed to be used several different ways plus it has its own fuel rails which also leaves the possibility of leaking fuel at the crossover and the regulator. in my oponion its one of the best out threre for torque, street use but track use for horse power top end maybe not the best choice i think trick flow gets the hp nod.i really not aware of a inferior BBK product

bbk ssi is the worst out there, I'm not often partial to mag articles but in a test of 1-12 different intakes even the archaic gt-40 out performed it

you want to spend as much as a brand new TFS R series intake to get MAYBE 10rwhp? and still perform worse than if you went to the junkyard and paid $50 for an Exploder intake?...

LOL the ssi is the worst intake out there. not only is it ugly, huge and covers the top of the motor making it hard to access anything, it doesnt make jack for power. id run the stock intake before i ran a ssi

i thought the ssi was kinda cool looking. a little different but in a good way. I have decided to not go with the ssi. now i am researching the trick flow and edel brock intakes.
