Default throttle body ?

I am getting a new throttle body soon and had a few questions. How do you know if you need the egr spacer or not? Also, what are the best brands and is there a huge difference? Was wanting to go with holley, bbk, or edelbrock. suggestions etc thanks.

if your car still has the egr system in place, you will need an egr spacer to match the tb. the only brand TB i have ever used is pro products and i have never had a single issue with them.

Never had a problem with my 70mm Holly but my BBK did break the throttle plate loose from the shaft. Best bet, get the TB and spacer plate from Accufab.

well think of it this way it`s a hole letting air in, the air dosent care who made the hole just that it is there, the size of the hole in relation to the intake and induction piping will either slow down the air speed or increase it. (bernouilli`s principle) basically air-flow, fluid dynamics.

If it`s a fox u get a spacer for the throttle cable and if its an sn guess what you get a spacer elbow too for the throttle cable either way u buy one! dosent matter on the egr, block it off, unless u have to have it!
