Default temp concern?

Every since I bought my stang the stock temp gage is showing like at three quartes up in temp when driving it never goes above that and sometimes down to the half waypoint.I'm not sure if the fans running because i'm driving the car and I can't hear it.Should I be concerned or is this normal operating conditions with the temp? The motor is fairly new with only 40k on it everything on the car is stock factory.....thanks

you won't hear the fan on a fox, it's a clutch fan, not electric if stock still..........you need to verify if the temp the gauge is reading is correct, and the way I do that is probe different key locations in the cooling system with a infared heat gun, once such is determined then you can determine if it is a cooling system deficiency or solely a gauge issue
