bought a set of gt 40p heads because my victor jr heads crapped out on me so i got new shorty headers the heads trick flow intake 1.7 rr's hardened push rods and comp timing chain was wondering what cam to go with alot of people are telling me to use the e303 but want so more feedback on what cam to get

why on earth would you go from a head that will support 500+ hp to ones that cant even support 250?...

because the heads cracked and they wont hold 500+ hp bought the pushrods when i had the victor jr heads

those heads i bought will support more that 250 this car isnt that fast anyways just want a decent car to go play with

why would those heads flow about the same yet one wouldn't hold up as good since both heads are cast and alot of people use the gt40p heads i just want to get the car going again so i wanted to do a cam just a mild street car

Victor jr heads are aluminum and wouldn`t crack just warp they flow nothing even close! you have something crossed up somehwere!

I dont think edelbrock even makes any cast iron heads!

but you should be ok on the pushrod length if it is a 6.30in i had to use that length with my victor jr heads! the gt40 iron heads ue a 6.25 length! longer or shorter on the rods can give you less lift on the cam or more lift, you have to be in the ballpark, actually dead on for the geometry to be right!

ok i see in your sig you have the windsor jr heads not victor jr big difference!

yeah and i know about that the pushrods dont matter i have another 302 i can use them on im asking about a ****ing cam choice nothing else matters until i have the cam and can match everything up so i want to know what cam to use or a recomended cam
