cam choice
bought a set of gt 40p heads because my victor jr heads crapped out on me so i got new shorty headers the heads trick flow intake 1.7 rr's hardened push rods and comp timing chain was wondering what cam to go with alot of people are telling me to use the e303 but want so more feedback on what cam to get
why would those heads flow about the same yet one wouldn't hold up as good since both heads are cast and alot of people use the gt40p heads i just want to get the car going again so i wanted to do a cam just a mild street car
Victor jr heads are aluminum and wouldn`t crack just warp they flow nothing even close! you have something crossed up somehwere!
I dont think edelbrock even makes any cast iron heads!
but you should be ok on the pushrod length if it is a 6.30in i had to use that length with my victor jr heads! the gt40 iron heads ue a 6.25 length! longer or shorter on the rods can give you less lift on the cam or more lift, you have to be in the ballpark, actually dead on for the geometry to be right!
ok i see in your sig you have the windsor jr heads not victor jr big difference!
