X PiPe Question

Default X PiPe Question

Hey guys im looking to buy a long tube header system for my car. I also want to add on a xpipe to go on after the headers. I have no idea what x pipe to buy or which one will fit. Does any xpipe fit the long tube headers. Please help i have no idea and i want to get the car on the street.

says bbk long tubes only but that should help get you closer!

Just from what brief moment i looked the long tubes favor the H-pipe!

BBK pipes fit the best dont cheap out cheap pipes dont always fit so well

The thing is i have a long tube header for a 5.0 but idk what brand it is and i dont want to just not use it. So what should i do should i just get short x pipes or will they not fit

The best thing to do it figure out what headers you have then go from there!

You could call bbk and get measurements on there long tubes and measure yours and see if there the same length if so you could use there mid pipe!

AHAHAH ROFL NO!

I had to cut and reweld my BBK X-pipe to make it fit onto the BBK longtubes I have. Not to mention they weren't even sealed at the X. There were pin holes that let exhaust out. Good thing I'm handy with a welder.

I'm running BBK longtubes and an off road X pipe... I'm considering reverting to the H-pipe.
It doesn't sound bad... but then again it doesn't sound that great.

I will say that I like BBK's 02 Sensor extensions... but hell you can make those yourself.

i think BBK OR X's sound like crap...

get a custom X welded up that has a TRUE X in it, not the BBK crap...

and i guarantee itll fit better...

That long tube header you got has a number on it somewhere type it in on summit racing it should tell you what it is and i wouldnt go with bbk i have the x pipe and had sealing issues with it and it leaked at the x the h pipe in my opinion sounds better id check out mac,slp, borla. what kind of cat back do you got?
