For a 1989 Mustang GT.

Front Left 26" Front Right 26-1/16"

Rear Left 26- 7/8" Rear Right 26-3/4"

These measurement were taken about a year after I bought the car new May 1989 with the original tires 225/60 x 15 Goodyear Eagle Gatorback with about 14,000 miles miles on them.

Reasonably close I would guess for an LX versus GT.

But there are other thing that I think need to be thrown into the equation, just to name a few.

Tire Pressure ?

Are the tires the same dimensions that came as OE ?

How many miles on those OE Springs?

Are the springs for the LX the same as the GT?

Scanned from the 1989 Ford Mustang Shop Manual

yea the rear is 225/60-15 front is 215/60-15, so they are like 2 tenths of an inch shorter... but before i measured ride height i made sure the tire pressure was the same all around... and i was on a level slab of concrete. the reason why i asked for the spec is because i am considering new springs in the rear because it squats and it is a rough ride, also i want to stick a 275/60-15 tire in there
