Default blower with NOS

has anyone done this...i have an 86 gt with a paxton 1220...instead of downsizing the pully i am thinkin about a small shot of nitrous....for track only, it has enough power for the street...it has six pounds of boost and a 255 walpro pump. i know it has to be a wet shot. i have enough fuel pressure and it runs on the rich side at WOT...any ideas of a safe shot,? like 25 or 50 hp. it pulls about 295 rwhp and i would like to get about 325 to 350 rwhp for the track....any ideas would be great...thanx

do it on the cobra engine all the time. should be no problem here either, tho a pulley would be much cheaper

your only running 6psi? get a bigger crank pulley to increase the boost to about 9psi. thatll get you the power you need. your talking about spending $600 on a nitrous kit just for 40hp. seems like a huge waste of money.

but rule of thumb, nitrous hp gains almost double when sprayed into a boosted motor. so a 25 shot will get you 40-50hp

True that lucky! + u don't have to be filling bottles all the time, and u have the power all the time, not just some of the time

If you get the pulley changed you can use it just for the track....but would you really stay out of the rpms on the street? lol Nitrous is just a waste of money IMO

its not a waste of money, but when you have a much simpilar method such as a pulley there are more viable options to getting power
