Default Dash Caps

Anyone have any dash caps? I've seen some plastic ones that go over current dash for like 70$, and 50resto now sells a legit one for like 200$.

My current dash on my 84 is cracked and torn to ****. Looking to replace it.

theyy're crap, absolute crap, like a drunk retard monkey forged the molding out of wet cardboard.

foxmustangrestoration has been working on one for awhile now but has been MIA, missing deadlines, but I am willing to wait for his, he is a pro and knows how to do it right.

They have one for 190 http://www.foxresto.com/products/vie...Black_Dash_Pad
They have one for 200 http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...Black-Dash-Pad

I just don't feel like dropping that much money on a dash pad

All of the ones in the junkyard were cracked to hell as well...

Well, theres the dash caps which go over the existing dash, which are like 80$. Im assuming those are the ones your reffering to as crap. Then theres the replacement dashpads that LMR and foxmustangrestoration have, which are exact replica replacements, and those are 200$, which I don't want to spend

if all your going to do is slap a band-aid on the problem then you may as well sell it...why half *** a project? do it once and do it right... took the damn thing probably 15-20 years to crack anyway

im not half assing a project, if it takes 200$ to get it right, at some point ill spend the 200$ to get it right. But if i could fix the same problem for 120$ cheaper, well then common sense would say to go with that solution.

im a broke *** college kid just like you, i'm sure you understand.

They are all crap, again, ALL ARE CRAP.

FMR is working on an exact repo dash but is taking his time as he wants it to be perfect.
