question about a vortech v1 on my 347stroker
ok u guys i ended up getting a vortech v1 be for looking into it first so my question is how good would this work on my 347 set up right now?
set up.
347 stroker
10,1 compresion
comp XFI 236 cam.
Trick Flow Hi port heads with 2.08 intake valves and port job.
mac 1 3/4 long tubes, pro chamber 3" all the way to the tail pipes.
Trick Flow R intake
75mm TB 76mm MAF sensor calibleted for the 30lb injectors
255-fuel pump
i think thats about it what do u guys think? would my cam work and would the 30lb's hold up with the charger or do i need bigger injectors? I see people that run superchargers with no MAF sensor. y?

you will need to take the cover off of it to find out which disc is in it. Then find out which one you need. I wish i could tell you but, I am not sure. I would think a 6:1 for that set-up but, I am not sure. Honestly, I would probably call vortech to see what size disc they recommend.
I also think Summitt sales the Vortech disc kits, they may know as well.
here are the disc sizes
12:1 = 2.72" Diameter disc, 10:1 = 2.47", 8:1 = 2.22", 6:1 = 1.85", 4:1 = 1.59"...

Is this a stock block engine? If so that V1 in a 347 will make plenty of power to make the two halves of the block go in two different directions. You will need at LEAST 42 lb injectors and a MAF and a tune. I am not a fan of FMU's but that's just me. If everything is working together you have an easy 500+ at the wheels.
