Well ive had King cobras, Spec stage 2, and Ram HD clutches, have tried BBK and UPR cables. I have always had a rock hard pedal even with a stock pp. I finally steped it up to a Centerforce DF and MM's modified oem cable set-up and wow the pedal is perfect. You can still feel it some but no where as hard as it used to be. the MM cable comes with instructions about routing the cable and adjustment I recommend anyone with hard pedal issues to try the MM cable it will help. but the centerforce has the best pedal effort of all clutches.

ya know I had a simialar prob in my 89 vert, stiff pedal, and I tried 3 different clutches, oem, kc, cf/df, and 3 seperate cable quadrant set ups, all to no avail, what finally solved it, and now it has a honda clutch feel = easy, The steeda quick release quadrant and cable with firewall adjuster solved the whole prob

yeah I was gonna order the Steeda one until I read up on the MM on some more

Yeah i got the same problem i got the spec stage two and mine is so stiff im going to check out steeda

stock cable, quadrant, no adjuster and a CFDF clutch and its pedal is great
