Question What Stall Converter Are You Running?

Trying to make up my mind on what stall converter for my c4 behind a mild 331 and factory gears. For mainly a dd. Just wondering what alot of you are running. Ordering one on Monday!

331 w/ trickflow stage 2 cam 2500-6000: 224°/232° .542"/.563" valve lift w/1.6 .339"/.352" lobe lift 112° LSA 107° ICL /117° ECL ... and pro comp 190cc/60, weiand stealth intake holley 750cfm vac sec, b&m hammer shifter,built c4 trans go shift kit, factory 3.08 gears, tires are 245/45/17 s. mainly a dd may see some track

the 3.08's are gonna kill take off, but if it's mainly a street car, I'd swap the gears either way and go with a maybe a 3500 stall, if it were for more racing I'd up the stall

You say you 'may see some track'. Since you won't be competing why get a racing converter? You have to drive the car everyday on the street. So, get a street stall. Why would you want to have to rev it over three grand just to leave a light?

If you want a race car, build a race car.

the convertor will flash before advertised stall so it'll roll way before it hits 3k, got a friend with a 3000 stall and it does not rev up to 3k before car starts to roll, now from a roll in a parking lot I can make it flash up to 3k by quickly snapping the throttle...he'll be fine with a 3k and or slightly above stall for street use.

what company? PTC, REDNECK, REVMAXX, MONSTER? 2800-3200? or 3200-3600? don't have alot of money so I am limited
