Default Any guesses?

Well tomorrow is the first day for Test and Tune at the local 1/4 mile track and with weather permitting I'm trying to get somewhat of a baseline for the fox before I throw in the turbo. The car is completely stock with only weight reduction and weighs in at 3200 lbs with me in it. It's an auto with Nitto 555R tires in the rear. I have made about 50 track passes but this will be the first with an auto, and my first with this car so it should be interesting. Any idea's or guesses what I might run? Any suggestions dealing with tire pressure or rpm's is appreciated.

start at 15 psi, adjust as nessesary. My stock motor fell on its face after 5200 rpm on the dyno, ran out of just about everything. Shift at 5200, then try 5300 and so on, if you slow down, you're running out of power.

It's a '91 LX hatch that's completely stock other then the weight reduction and Nitto's. All the way down to stock AOD with no known work done to it. Thanks for the gueses guys. What do the stock 5.0's usually trap?

stock 5-speed can trap 98-99
stock aod probably trap 89

it'll slow down from the t5 fo sho.... probably a full second

probably a 15.00 you might need to dump the belt to get into the 14's. i did a 14.40 best with my bone stock '90 gt aod, but it had 3.27's

Well thanks for the advice and all the guesses. My goal is just to be into the 14's but I'm finding it hard to launch this thing because I've only put about 25 miles on the car since I bought it and there's very little weight in the back. That and I'm not used to the automatic yet but all that should make it that much more fun. Well I'll be sure to keep you all updated on how she does but as of right now the weather forecast isn't looking to good.
