Default Cam/piston question

Weird question the guy that owned the car before me put in a stage one trick flow cam... With no other mods to the motor does this hurt/help HP????

Also he put hypermatic pistons in it... Is this ok for spray??? Like a 125 shot

well, the cam isn't really going to help it any. It will make it sound cooler though.

the shot you have to be careful with but, it can be done. I have seen good things about the Zex nitrous kits. People around here have said they have had no trouble with them ever.

It is possible to go to big. It may have slowed it down a little. Personally, if the car is stock, I would rather have a cool sounding car rather than a tenth of a second at the track. Especially if it involved changing it back to a stock cam.
