Default Getting a car tuned

I was looking into another mustang i may be picking up, it has a fresh built motor, still needs a couple pieces, but how do i know where to take it to get it tuned? Do i look for a shop specializing in mustangs? This will be my first efi fox body if i get it, im more of a carb guy. Also any idea on how much it will run me to get it tuned? Any help/input is appreciated.

a good tune will cost you on the order of $500-$600 with the chip

and it shouldnt be hard to find a tuner in illinois

no.... you bring it somewhere reputable... tell them "I need a dyno tune"

they give you a price, you give them the keys... and pick the car up when its done

Built 408. I figured that might need a slightly different tune then a stock 302...

I also found out it doesn't have a "computer" in it right now, should i just find a stock one from the same year of the car or will a 408 require a different "computer"?
