Default What do you think of this car?

Just wondering what everyone thought of this car. I know it's wicked expensive. Any red flags?

I also got this email from the seller;

When I did the cam and head swap we had a good look at the condition of
the cylinder bores and they still had the factory honing cross hatching in
them. The engine never burnt any oil and the compression was good so the
bottom end was never touched. Everything else has been replaced cam,
heads, push rods, the entire valve train assembly. There"s about 5000 km"s
on the new valve train. The only reason for the camshaft and head swap was
for performance not wear. With the new cam and head combo the engine pulls
hard to 6000 rpm. I"ll post pics of the interior but there are no rips in
the seats or anything like that. I have owned the car for just over 5
years and have never daily driven it. It has always been stored in a
heated garage the entire time I"ve had it and never been driven in the
winter.

No that car is not worth it. All it has is an hci and dime a dozen suspension parts.

I might pay that much if it had full coilovers/panhard bar/6speed/forced induction AND dyno sheets.

hmm.. any idea how much it would cost to take a stocker and build it up to where this car is? I would rather get a low mileage stock car and buy all the parts myself, but I figured it would cost a whole lot more..

Ill sell you mine for that price, hell you can have it for $17,000 and it has a blower, tq arm/panhard bar and still sports factory paint (which means it has never been hit). I see no red flags, other than the guy thinks he has a solid gold Mustang. BTW the cross hatch on the bores means very little, I have an engine in my garage right now with well over 100k on it, it is an oil burner but yet still has plenty of cross hatch left.
PS, mine looks better under the hood.

I agree. There's only a couple of Fox Mustangs that I'd consider spending that kinda money on, and a modded GT isn't anywhere close to being on that list.

not enough info or pics on the car to make an accurate assesment but IMO 18k is to much for a N/a, h/c/i 302 mustang
