Default ugh problems

Well I havent had any real problems after my rebuild until now. At idle I can rev the engine up no problem. But under load the engine misses. I figured timing so i checked it with a light and check for vacuum leaks. Everything looked good. So what could be the problem. Happens around 2000rpms and up

check secondary ignition parts, such as cap, rotor, plugs and wires, timing was the last place I'd of looked

Replaced cap, rotor and wires. Going to put plugs in next. Could it possibly be something drivetrain related? like the clutch barely grabbing? because it acts perfect at idle. I can snap the rpms up no problem

put it in 5th gear and lug it at low speeds, that'll simulate a load and if it stumbles, = powertrain drivibility issue...ie fuel or most likely ignition related as long as no codes exist is ecm refering to fuel management system

Well the more I think about it the problem started when I was leaving a wall mart parking lot. I pushed on the clutch and it felt like the cable snapped but I was still able to put it in gear and drive. Pedal just felt extremely weird. I drove it home and it has sat since. Could the clutch cable cause this issue?

if the clutch cable snapped or is binding, you'd have problems with gear engaugement....do you have such an issue??

Found the problem! When I rebuilt the engine the number 6 plug in the heads had chewed up threads. I wasn't smart enough to check before I installed them so I figured it out once the heads were installed. I was to lazy to take the heads off and tap them so I went through about 3 plugs trying to get the plug to go in correctly. I thought I had gotten it to go but when I pulled the plugs I realized that about 3 turns of the wrench pulled the plug out. I am assuming this was the problem. Any ways my graduation gift is twisted wedge heads and a cam so that will solve that problem. If it doesnt solve the problem then I'll have some more trouble shooting to do.
