Default Pulleys

I was looking into getting some used pulleys and was wondering is there anything I need to look for in used pulleys other than dents and scratches?

ya, you need to look for a different mod, pulleys are a complete waste of money

I actually do not live in a cold area. But why the waste? Is it one of those pointless added hp items?

My car is not a daily driver but I've been stuck in stop and go traffic for over an hour more than once with the March Performance Power & Amp UD pulleys and I've never had a charging or over heating issue. I still have the original radiator, water pump and alternator that came from the factory and they have over 187,000 miles on them.

Figure about 1/2 of the hp gain that any manufacture suggest.

it just doesnt do much. it's an honest 5 hp, so if you want it ... do it

if you can shed 50 lbs... it's the same gain for free

i havnt used UD pullies in over 15 years or so, if you use a lot of power... you'll see the needle dip deep. on more than one occasion i woke up to a dead batt cuz it just didnt charge well enuff

i think you'd get more hp from a cai
