Check out what I finished up under my car !

Looks nice!
Did the process include spraying on cleaning chemicals and that stuff dripping down? Sign me up, 'cause I haven't enjoyed that car fun yet and I want to add that to my list of greasy to the elbows, burns, scrapes and crud in the ears!
On several of my vehicles I've removed all that underneath stuff, polished it, painted it and re-installed it.
The process was a pain-in-the-butt, but the results were also good. Mine has held up great over the years.
Mine are always done w/ jackstands.
Those underneath parts could be removed at any time later, if desired, for additional detailing.
One part that now jumps-out for being out-of-place on yours is the drive shaft. That is easy to remove, polish, paint and replace.
When I polish I use a right-angle and a straight die grinders, with woven pads. This makes any metal shine like chrome.
Here are some images:
Before
Starting Polish w/ Right-angle Die Grinder and Woven Pads
Later Stage of Polish
Painted w/ Rustoleum Professional
Polished and Painted Bracket and Driveshaft
Installed

Yes...I used marine clean and metal ready all in the kit u can buy, shown in my first post. I plan on getting back under the stang in a few weeks too repaint the drive shaft and do some touch ups! I'm also going to be replacing all the shocks on the stang everything is all original as u can see... It's a work in progress baby steps!

Well, there's three different colors u can choose and they all work different. The silver has filler in it for real bad rust,The black is for like the frame on the car for the med rust problems and they make a clear one for light rust area's on the car.I only used the silver towards the back of the car because that's where it was the worst and than I installed the tie coat primer to that area because in looked like aluminum paint and than I painted it red.Now the floor boards where so nice under my car that I only needed to prep them with a rust oleum primer and a top coat ........
