i actually just went through this on the dyno.i put my tip about 5 inches down from were my elbow turns in the tb. just for the sake of trying we plugged it moved it right in front of the tb in the rubber connector.gained 4 whp. but as the tuner told me the closer you get to the intake the more risk of puddling you have. as the n20 might stick closer to one side or the other.the further it is the less power but it mixes properly with your air flow.that is why my zex kit says 6-18 inches from tb,after maf.but i play a lot on the safe side.i figure it's not a worthy gamble for 4 hp.
thanks man for the info it is very much appreciated
Is there a big advantage when tapped in the TB or will it be fine in the CAI piping after the MAF?
CAI is good, but not if it has to make a bunch of turns to hit the intake opening. NOS says mount in the TB, they always have, ZEX gives a distance. for peeps who have the rubber tube... do the tb, cai do it there. i currently have the c&l tube with the boss in it. thats perfect there cuz it still shoots str8 into the intake opening. i also squirt dry... so i dont have a puddling issue, thats WHY i squirt dry

you thing it will be fine to use a T from the FPR line for the regulator line? I just wanna double check
yes, use brass, and with EVERYTHING on your kit... use teflon PASTE!!!!! not tape, tape will clog guages, and can cause a selonoid to hang open... even if you dont hear it... it can seep into a cylinder and when you start it up....... your done
i have my tee in there so it goes like this |-
not the single side up, i have my line pressure guage in the top then i have the hobbs switch off the side

thanks I got it all hooked up and I can tell a difference just with the 55 shot, its not nothing crazy but is noticeable.
I need to get a gauge no matter what and maybe a bottle heater?
