Default Lifter Question?

so i have a cam in my engine that is aftermarket, don't know the specs bc it was in when i bought it. i hate the cam and am going to buy a custom grind when i save up the money. in the meanwhile i am putting the stock cam back in. the question i have is can i re-use lifters? i have the set in the engine now and also have a second set that i picked up with a top end kit they are in very good condition i think they are stock replacements or intended for use with a letter cam, same thing? the stock cam is not the original from my engine bought it a while back cheap has 20k on it. thanks mike

The only two reasons not to use them are if they dont roll, or there collapsed! other than that there fine no matter the camshaft choice!

cool, the ones in there i will see when i swap the hci. the set that i have not installed are in very good shape. i have a explorer intake that i may have a little porting done eddlebrock performer heads with frpp 1.6 rr. the cam in my car is aftermarket and runs like crap prob bc i have not installed those parts yet, it has stock heads and intake right now. i am going to put the stock cam back in with the heads and intake oh yeah i also have a 70mm throttle body mass air cold air. i am def going to be going with a custom grind but am saving for it and it will be awhile. i will atleast have the stock cam in until the end of the summer so i actually enjoy driving it again. oh yeah i also have equal length bbk shorties i still have to install! i got all these parts over a month ago but have been so busy doing renovations to my house i have nothad time i hope i will sooner than later. mike
