so while i am in the engine bay i was thinking of putting in an electric fan. i have heard guys using tarus and mark viii fans. any reason for one over the other or any other ideas? what else besides the fan will i need and what and i lookin at for cost? thanks mike

 

you need a fan controller, and the 3g alternator upgrade

 

any brands u recomend?

 

fan controller is like $35ish and my buddy pulled a fan from the junk yard for $20

the V-6 Contours from 95-00, V-6 99-02 Mercury Cougars and Mystiques have the dual electric fan and fit mint on the mustang radiator.
