Default Peformance Chip

I want to get a chip and dyno tune next, and needed some advice. Whats the best chip for my set-up or just in general who should I buy from??? I'm not expecting the advertised horsepower gains, I just want a healthier car.

Here are a few that I'm looking at:

1.) http://www.americanmuscle.com/sct-4-bank-computer-chip.html?Cart=SCT%20Mustang%204-Bank%20Eliminator%20Chip%20w/%204%20Free%20Custom%20Tunes%20(88-04)|Free%20Tunes%20for%20Life|Free%20Custom%20Tune ^3^269.99

2.) http://www.performancechipsdirect.com/Ford/Mustang/

3.) http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HYP-689161/

Also, I have an auto-ecm and engine wiring harness for auto tranny. But, I converted my car to manual, so should I be buying for auto or manual trannys - when applicable?

buy the chip your dyno tuner is selling. he's the one writing the tune on it

Mine doesn't sell one, he said he'd put in whichever one I wanted. I'm leaning towards the Bama chip from American Muscle

then find a different dyno tuner... those OTS chips are garbage and are a waste of money. the only way to properly tune your car is for a custom chip for what YOUR actual set up is and the way that YOUR car runs. every car is different. how can a generic chip be of any use if it is not mad for YOUR specific setup???

also, your car does not have any modifications that would need a chip anyway. the best you can really do is timing and fuel pressure. a chip wont really help a bolt on car w/ obd1

Well, He charges $100 an hour. A dyno is a dyno for this scenario - so I know I'm going here. He's a trustworthy guy - I also see one of his mechanics everyday where I work.

Do you guys all feel the same way about this chip???? If you research it or watch the video, you'll find out that they ask you every little detail about your set-up. Did you guys know that for this specific one???

10-4 on the other chips - over out

No, I just want the car to run tip-top. My friend has a stock motor with the Bama chip and he said he felt a big difference. That was the only upgrade he did to it.
