No, I just want the car to run tip-top. My friend has a stock motor with the Bama chip and he said he felt a big difference. That was the only upgrade he did to it.
I'm very pleased with it - its just running at 95% lately... but I really love the way it sounds. The crate motor we both have can take that much hp???

only if you got the ***** to try it figure i got a beast to build so why not see what FRPP made this b**** to take all cast parts and hyper pistons over 150 passes and 15k miles beating the **** out of it and its taking it like a champ
You don't need a chip for your setup. You need someone that knows what they are doing to get the car running in tip top shape. OTS chips are junk for our 5.0's. The computer has enough knowledge to tune itself if you know how to work the car. But yes a custom chip would get the most out of it you will be wasting your money to get what, 20hp?
well, I've decided to get a dyno tune, meaning we will run three passes as is and then work the timing and idle setting to get it to tip-top running condition. Also, I will not waste my money on this chip... thanks guys!
