After 9 years, she is going back on the road...
I last drove my 1990 Mustang GT way back in 2001 and I'm finally putting her back on the road. Many reasons why she has been off for this long but they are all excuses. Ive done a lot of work to her while she was in hibernation and fixing her last bits now. I hope she is ready by the end of the week...
Front brakes (including calipers),
Rear brakes (including springs and axle seals),
130-amp G2 PA automotive alternator ,
Water pump,
Double roller timing chain,
3-row brass radiator,
180-degree thermostat,
MAC fender well cold air,
Replaced mass air sensor,
PRO 5.0 shifter,
Flowmaster “American-Thunder” cat-back exhaust,
Mac “off road” H-pipe,
New “take off” shocks and struts,
Head lights and turns,
Brand new battery,
FMS 5 lug rotors and axels,
17” wheels,
3.55 gears,
Trac-loc rebuilt with new clutches,
Centerforce Clutch,
Rear main seal, pilot and throw out bearing,
FMS Aluminum driveshaft,
Poly motor and tranny mount,
Ball joints,
Poly control arm bushings,
Front control arms, spindles, and dust shields blasted and painted.
Manual Flaming River Chrome Rack and pinion,
Poly rack bushings,
Poly end links,
Inner and outer tie rods,
Eibach lowering springs with poly isolators,
Aluminum caster/camber plates,
Sub-frame connectors (not installed yet),
PMGR mini starter,
Pony floor mats,
Aftermarket (forgot brand) square tube U&L rear control arms.
Can also add a new gas tank, tank straps, fuel sending unit, fuel filter, and fuel pump to her latest surgery, ugh...

Hey grown up life gets in the way, the younger guys will find that out soon enough. The important thing is you kept it, lesser men woulda sold it long ago so congratulations are in order! I bought mine as one of those projects in 05 for $300(it coulda cost 7 times more, but he just wanted it gone), I drove it 1 time, to my garage where I started taking it apart. I play when I have time and $ but it'll always be right there. You never know where the ride takes you. Nice car btw, you never see that silver with the black stripe anymore.
